Khalis hopes China to invest in Afghanistan to create job opportunities for Afghans 

KABUL: (AIP): Acting head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis received medical assistance of 10 million Chinese Yuan from the ambassador of China Wang Yu.

Addressing the ceremony, Maulvi Khalis hoped that the government of China would provide continued support to Kabul and make investment in Afghanistan to create job opportunities for the Afghan people.

On the occasion, the Chinese ambassador handed over 33 health items worth 10 million Chinese Yuan to the Afghan Red Crescent Society. 

Head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis lauded the Chinese Red Crescent Society for the support and said that China and Afghanistan had friendly relations. He hoped that the government of China and Chinese Red Crescent Society would provide continued support to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

He hoped that the government of China and Chinese Red Crescent Society would make investment and execute economic projects in Afghanistan to create job opportunities for the Afghan people.

The humanitarian and health assistance of China was of vital importance for Afghanistan, Khalis said. The support would help bring both the nations together, he added. The assistance would be utilized transparently, he maintained.

On the occasion, Chinese ambassador Wang Yu said that they had realized the issues of Afghan people.

He said that they had started support with the Afghan people on the demand of Chinese President Xi Jinping. The assistance would continue in the future.
