Afghanistan beat W. Indies by 56 runs in second warm-up match of T20 World Cup

KABUL (AIP): Afghanistan's brilliant performance with both bat and ball helped them beat defending champion West Indies by 56 runs in their second and final warm-up match for the T-20 World Cup 2021 Wednesday.
Mohammad Nabi opened the bowling for Afghanistan and took three wickets in his four straight overs by conceding only two runs. He bowled 22 dot balls out of 24 deliveries.
Batting first, Afghanistan scored 189 for 5 with both the openers hit fifties; Hazratullah Zazai made 56 of 35 balls while Mohammad Shahzad hit 54 of 35.
Nabi’s brilliant performance with ball helped Afghanistan restricting West Indies to 133 for five.  
After losing their first warm-up match against South Africa, Afghanistan needed a big win to restore their confidence and they did it well.  Ends
