PESHAWAR (AIP): Amrican jets carried out seven strikes on Herat and bombarded the airport, Taliban sources told AIP.
Reports said that the bombardment continued for three hours and seven strikes were carried out.
Some bombs landed in the adjoining areas of the airport.
