KSrelief donates 100 tons of dates to Afghan Red Crescent

KABUL (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has donated 100 tons of dates to the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) to be distributed among deserving families.
The aid was formally handed over during a ceremony held at the Saudi Embassy in Kabul Wednesday (Feb. 11), following a special directive from King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia.
The event was attended by Ali Mohammad Al-Hassan, Deputy Head of the Saudi Embassy in Afghanistan; Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Deputy of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Fahad Saad Al-Qahtani, Director of the KSrelief in Kabul along with other officials.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hafiz Azizur Rahman expressed appreciation for the donation and thanked the King Salman Foundation for its continued humanitarian support. He assured that the dates would be distributed transparently among needy and deserving families across various provinces of the country.
The KSrelief has been operating in Afghanistan for several years, providing food and non-food assistance to vulnerable communities. The organization continues to deliver humanitarian support in response to ongoing challenges faced by the Afghan population. Ends
