KSRelief distributes assistance among 1000 families
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) distributed edibles among 1000 families in Sare Pul city and Balkh district of this province.
A ceremony was held in Sare Pul city in this regard on Sunday (January 18). Officials of KSRelief, head of the department of refugees and repatriation of Sare Pul, Maulvi Mehmood Mohammadi, director of economy, Maulvi Abdul Basir Sabiri, influential figures and families receiving the assistance attended the gathering.
Addressing on the occasion, speakers said that the assistance was distributed among 1000 deserving families in light of the survey in the provincial capital and Balkh district. They included returned refugees, internally displaced persons, poor and deserving families.
Provincial officials lauded the KSRelief for its assistance and cooperation and said that the packages were distributed among deserving families through a transparent process.
Each family was given wheat, ghee, rice, beans and sugar with the financial support of KSRelief and technical assistance of Tauheen organization.
The KSRelief is performing relief activities in Afghanistan over the past several years. It launched distribution of assistance among deserving families in northern and northeastern provinces. These families have been forcibly expelled from neighboring countries over the past some time. This organization takes speedy steps to provide assistance to deserving families and people affected by natural disasters.
