KABUL (AIP): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre  (KSrelief)  distributed food aid to 2,000 returned families in Maymana, provincial capital and in Pashtunkot district of Faryab province.
The distribution process began on Tuesday (Jan. 13) during a ceremony attended by provincial officials.
The event included representatives of the KSrelief, Haji Damla Saifuddin Jehadi, director of Faryab’s Refugee and Repatriation Affairs, Mawlawi Ghulam Haider Siddiqi, a representative of the provincial administration, local elders, and recently returned refugee families.
Provincial officials thanked the KSrelief for its ongoing support and collaboration.
Under this program, each family received wheat, cooking oil, rice, beans, and sugar, with financial support provided by the KSrelief and technical management handled by the Tawheed Organization.
It is worth noting that the Foundation recently distributed similar aid in Badakhshan and Kunduz provinces. For years, the King Salman Foundation has been providing humanitarian services in Afghanistan, recently assisting thousands of families who have newly returned from abroad. Ends
